Holiday birds sell out weeks in advance. Order early.
Every year, our holiday turkeys, geese and ducks are spoken for long before the holidays arrive. We start accepting orders as early as July — and we always sell out.
How the order book works
From July to the Monday before the holiday.

Good to know
When should I order my holiday bird?
As early as you can. We open the holiday order book as early as July, and orders fill fast through mid October. We typically sell out weeks before the holidays.
When do I pick the bird up?
Holiday birds are typically ready for pickup the Monday before Thanksgiving and the Monday before Christmas, at the farm stand on Woodville Road.
Is it too late to order?
It depends on the year and how fast the book filled. Even if we are close to sold out, call 419-917-1706 and ask — sometimes we have availability, and we would rather tell you straight than have you assume.
Are the holiday birds fresh or frozen?
Holiday birds are fresh for pickup at the farm. Our year-round freezer turkey and chicken are a separate thing and are stocked in the freezer.
What sizes can I get?
Sizes vary with the birds we raise that season. The earlier you order, the better the selection of birds and sizes — that is the main reason to get on the list in summer.
